Description
The first section leads you towards Ankehubel. Shortly before this viewpoint, a path goes steeply up the forest to the left. The last part before the Top of Oberaargau is conquered via stairs of varying heights. For safety, a rope to hold onto runs along parts of the path. At the top of Hällchöpfli, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Alps. Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau are almost within reach. Those who want to enjoy the view a little longer can bring barbecue utensils. The fire pit is ready. On the descent, you go back the first part on the same path. At the fork, turn left and you will see Ankehubel to the right, from where you continue to Buechmatt. The path leads steeply downhill through the forest until you soon see the municipality of Wolfisberg from above. Once in the village, follow the signposts to Rumisberg. From there, it goes steeply uphill all the way to your starting point, Hinteregg.
