Finale! A bit of melancholy arises before setting off on the last day's stage. What emotional moments and unforgettable highlights the last five days have brought.
And how distant the starting point Wildhaus suddenly seems. More than a half marathon distance still awaits to the destination – 24 kilometers are missing until Wil. So just gobble up kilometers to arrive as quickly as possible? Not at all! There is still much to discover on the last stage. For example, the well-known viewpoint St. Iddaburg, with the associated pilgrimage church and the grotto. Or the Giessenfall – a waterfall hidden in the forest and particularly worth seeing, which plunges down over a Nagelfluh rock. Here you can plan a relaxed break to roast a sausage at one of the fire pits. Finally, over a broad hill ridge, it goes towards the princely town of Wil, which you can already recognize from afar. Not much longer, then the town sign is reached, and you know: it's done!
