To Steinerburg

Not only industry shapes the region by the lake. The idyllic hiking trail leads through a shady chestnut avenue along the lake to Steinach. The path then follows the Steinach brook.

In Obersteinach, the path gently ascends to the ruins of Steinerburg. There is an ideal picnic spot there, with a beautiful view of the region and the lake. The route continues over field paths, through meadows and orchards until the hiker reaches the district of Arbon again at Stachen.

The view of the Alpstein sweetens the last stretch through the residential area in good weather.
