Description
The route leads eastward along Bahnhofstrasse. At the Gartenlaube restaurant, the path turns south and, after crossing Zürcherstrasse, follows Mühletobelstrasse. On the left, above the vineyards, is the Guggenhürli, a half-timbered house built in 1720.
The path follows the Mühletobel forest nature trail, first along the forest edge, later directly by the creek. After crossing the road at Obholz, you can use either the sunny path (forest edge) or the shaded path (nature trail). After a steep ascent, you reach the Stählibuck Tower (with a fire pit).
The hiking trail leads to Dingenhart. It crosses the cantonal road at Tüfelsbächli as well as the Thunbach and reaches the forests of Imenberg and Sonnenberg Castle. The descent to Stettfurt goes through the vineyard. The path then leads over the Lauche to Matzingen.
