The one with the far-reaching view

The themed route «Rond om Bühler» is prepared in winter and well suited for families. The total of 12 different information boards provide hikers with exciting facts about the village of Bühler and the Appenzellerland. The hike starts centrally at Bühler train station and leads over the Hohe Buche, the highest point of the route. The magnificent view of the Alpstein is a true reward. On clear days, the view even extends to Lake Constance and the peaks of Central Switzerland. The path continues down to the Weissbach and Kriegersmühle. From Kriegersmühle, it gently ascends again to Steinleuten. From there, you can see the starting point of the hike, Bühler train station. In a few minutes, you reach back to Bühler train station.
