The Nature Park classic

Starting from the post bus stop of the same name on Herbetswil territory, you begin the ascent through the wildly romantic Wolfsschlucht. The narrow footpath leads steeply up through mixed forest, past precipitous rock faces. Truly a place for goblins and forest spirits. From the Hinterer Brandberg, the view opens over the regional Thal Nature Park. Via Probstenberg and Malsenberg, you reach Gänsbrunnen train station after about two hours of walking. Shortly before the destination, the charming, approximately 400-year-old St. Joseph church invites you for a visit.
