Description

The starting point in Savognin takes you on a steady ascent through lush alpine meadows up towards Tgant Pensa and further into the quiet, impressive Val d’Err. Here you are surrounded by the solitude of the mountains, accompanied by clear mountain streams and the endless tranquility of nature. Over Salategnas, the path leads you up to the "Himmelstor," to Fuorcla digl Leget – a highlight of the route that impresses with an unparalleled panorama. From there it goes over to the Julier road, which leads you to the magical Leg Grevasalvas. The idyllic mountain lake offers a magnificent view extending from the Engadin peaks down to the Bergell. Then awaits the technically demanding ascent to Pass Lunghin, another highlight you master with the necessary endurance and sure-footedness. The route continues over the Septimerpass to Fuorcla da Valletta. From here, the view opens into the high valley of Avers, whose wild and original beauty will leave you breathless. Pass the deep blue Leg Columban and enjoy the high alpine landscape before beginning the descent over Stallerberg to Bivio. From Bivio, the final section awaits you: after Sur and Plaz Beischen, a last ascent demands all your remaining strength. Then you run down to Rona and finally reach the finish back in Savognin.
