Description
Already the ride up to Fürenalp whets your appetite for more. At the top, the hike begins in the middle of an open, wild mountain landscape. The path leads over alpine terrain towards Blackenalp, past mountain streams, pastures, and the impressive backdrop of the Surenen valley. It quickly becomes clear here: This tour is not an ordinary crossing but a real mountain experience with lots of peace, vastness, and character.
After Blackenalp, the path steadily continues to rise. Over Unter Schatzboden, it goes up to the Surenen Pass, where the view opens up to Titlis, the Schächentaler Alps, Urnersee, and Reusstal. It is precisely this contrast between green alpine meadows, rugged pass landscape, and wide panorama that makes the hike so special.
The descent leads over Langschnee, Angistock, Geissrüggen, and Alp Grat towards Brüsti. In alpine summer, several mountain huts and alpine farms invite you to stop for a break along the way, and the Surenen cheese dairy is also on the route. At the end, you comfortably descend with the Brüsti aerial cableway down to Attinghausen – a fitting conclusion to a hike that shows how well big adventures and small cable cars fit together.
