“Summit Conqueror”, hike, Atzmännig – Schnebelhorn – Fischingen

On this two-day hike, you literally enjoy the highlights of the Zurich Oberland. The hike starts at the Atzmännig valley station, from where you take the chairlift to Ober Atzmännig. Now follow the signposts over the Tweralpspitz to the Chrüzegg mountain inn. Here you can refresh yourself with a fine cup of coffee or homemade lemonade from the lemonade hut.

Then follow the ridge along the Habrütispitz past the Rossegg. Continue toward Schnebelhorn, at 1292 meters above sea level the highest mountain in the canton of Zurich. At the summit, you will be rewarded with a unique panoramic view. Next, continue to the Hulftegg. On this stretch between Schnebelhorn and Hulftegg, you will overcome four more peaks. The Hulftegg mountain inn is the last destination for this day. Enjoy a fine refreshment in the restaurant or on the sun terrace and spend the night in one of the rustic rooms.

You begin the second hiking day with a hut breakfast. Afterwards, the next ascent to the Hörnli follows. Here a break at the Hörnli mountain inn is worthwhile. Then the hike leads from Hörnli to Fischingen. Pilgrim is the only monastery brewery in Switzerland – and the beers with different taste notes are worth a try!
