Description
The Knobel AG stone path symbolically represents the canton of Glarus: in the west of the facility there are rocks from Wiggis, Glärnisch, Ortstock to Klausen. In the south is the Tödi, in the east you can find stones from the Sernftal mountains up to the Glarus Thrust at “Lochsite” in Sool, in the north the Ennendaner mountains and the Kerenzen follow. Finally, in the middle are the stones of the Kärpf area. The stone path is located directly on the Glarner “Radweg” and the “Fridliweg”. Visitors can find all geological information on site. The family company Knobel AG also has an exhibition room with fossils, crystals, geology studies and sculptures.
A PDF on the stone path is available at the database of the Tectonic Arena Sardona
