Description
After x years of hiking tourism in the Alps, every path has been discovered and with all the web portals there are no more secrets. Wrong! In Mürren, there are actually still a few of these hidden gems. The combination of lush and species-rich flora with the breathtaking view of snow-covered Bernese Alps guarantees uniquely beautiful hiking experiences.
The hike begins at the Postbus station Stechelberg. The first altitude meters are quickly overcome thanks to the rather steep terrain. Along the Sefinen Lütschine, the hiking trail winds through the forest towards the hut. As soon as the tree line is crossed, the snow-covered peaks of the Bernese Alps appear. A look back is always worth it. Delicious food, the unique panorama, and the friendly Rotstockhütte team invite you to linger. The return route via Bryndli is another highlight of the hike. The descent from the summit is steep. Caution is advised in wet conditions.
