Description

The starting point is the village center of Sörenberg. From here, the route leads along the main road and the access road towards the Birkenhof – an ideal first stop. The farm is well known for its large farm shop, where regional products such as cheese, meat specialties, jams or syrup are offered. Those who wish can stock up here right away with a small hiking snack.

After the Birkenhof, the path ascends into the Junkholz. The route runs on a pleasant forest road through open terrain with a beautiful view of the Schrattenfluh and the surrounding alpine meadows. Once in the Junkholz, you walk through varied forest and meadow areas and already approach the village of Flühli. At the height of the Rotbach bridge, you change to the other side of the road to switch onto the Emme riverbank trail.

From here, it goes comfortably slightly downhill to Flühli, where the hike can end at the village center or at the bus stop.
