Snowshoe tour no. 500 Lower Segnesboden

You can comfortably reach the Segnes station directly from Flims by cable car without changing. Before strapping on your snowshoes, it is worth visiting the Sardona visitor pavilion at the Segnes hut. Here you will be clearly explained how the Alps were formed. Then you set off on the approximately one-hour marked circular route. The high plateau offers connoisseurs an excellent opportunity to explore the winter landscape in complete tranquility. You will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the distinctive Tschingelhörner, which majestically rise into the sky and impressively shape the panorama.

This route lies in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona, where untouched nature and clear winter air create a very special atmosphere. At this place, where geology tells history, the well-marked paths invite you to pause and admire the fascinating surroundings. 

Before heading back down to the valley, you can refresh yourself at the Segnes hut and enjoy a snack on the wonderfully sunny terrace.
