Sihlwald circular hiking trail

Description
The trail leads from Sihlwald railway station, following the yellow hiking signs towards Albishorn, past roots and fallen tree trunks. After passing the idyllic little pond in the forest, the Albishornweiher, the trail zigzags up to the Albis ridge, where you will reach the Albishorn restaurant after an hour and a half. Then follow the ridge path south for about 15 minutes to the next signpost, where a path branches off to the right. From there, follow the yellow signpost along the edge of the forest across a meadow with magnificent views of the Zug region and the mountains. Back in the forest, the path leads down to the right to the next junction. There, turn left and follow the route down to Sihlbrugg Station. At the former Sihlbrugg railway station, follow the hiking trail on the right-hand side of the Sihl back to Sihlwald railway station. If you have enough energy remaining, the trip can be concluded with a river walk without any height difference back to Sihlwald. The Zurich wilderness park museum in the Sihlwald visitor centre offers in-depth information as a conclusion.
