Description
A mysterious manuscript. A language that has echoed through the Engadin for centuries. And a path that tells stories.
The "Senda rumauntscha" leads through the picturesque village of Celerina and opens the door to the Romansh language at five exciting stations. Everyday terms are discovered interactively, local traditions explained, a typical recipe revealed, and numbers guessed.
At the center of the tour is the legend of a lost manuscript that left traces in the village. Clues and fragments accompany you from station to station until, at the end, a previously hidden message of Romansh culture is revealed.
The "Senda rumauntscha" combines knowledge with experience and awakens curiosity for one of the most beautiful languages of Switzerland.
The themed path is open to all who have an interest in the language, culture, and diversity of the Engadin—regardless of whether Romansh is already familiar or encountered for the first time.
How it works:
The themed trail can only be experienced digitally. All content is loaded directly onto the smartphone via a QR code. After each correctly solved task, the SmarTrail automatically shows the next station on the route. There is no time limit, so the tour can be enjoyed at your own pace with as many breaks as you like. At the end, a small reward awaits participants at the Celerina Tourist Information.
