Scuol – Chamonna Lischana – Lais da Rims – Val d'Uina

From Scuol the path initially climbs through the forest and later through open terrain up to Chamonna Lischana at an altitude of 2500 m above sea level. The hike continues ascending to Fuorcla da Rims, where the lake plateau Lais da Rims is reached. The karst landscape with around 20 doline lakes is unique in this form. The exact number of lakes cannot be determined, as some smaller lakes may dry up or reappear over the summer. Here you turn left. The path runs northeast and passes numerous further lakes. The descent towards Alp Sursaas is manageable from here. To the north you follow the river valley to the narrow entrance to the rock path il Quar. The approximately 600-meter-long path blasted into the steep rock face was built at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Already on the rock path you get views into Val d'Uina, through which the descent now proceeds. Alp Uina Dadaint is staffed and invites you to a refreshment for the remaining route, which now continues on a forest road. In Sur En directly at the valley exit there are catering facilities as well as connection to the PostAuto line via Sent to Scuol.
