Savognin - pilgrimage church Ziteil - Savognin

The mountain bike route starts at the valley station of the mountain railways in Savognin. There are also plenty of parking spaces here. The first meters are ridden leisurely before the route gently climbs uphill, steadily on a paved road. The route first leads to the village of Riom, then continues to Salouf. After Salouf, it goes down a few meters. The route climbs about 900 meters in altitude on the road until the asphalt road ends on a gravel path. From here it goes through a beautiful mountain landscape up to the church Ziteil. Right at the foot of the church begins the flowing trail, which features a few smaller technical sections. After about 400 meters downhill, it goes flat over several small streams. A steep short uphill awaits, where you will have to push or carry the bike. At the end, there is a barbecue area by a small lake. Beware, you will be almost eaten alive by mosquitoes. Then the route continues on a flowing trail back to Savognin.
