S-charl – God da Tamangur – Alp Astras – Lü

On quiet alpine and pass trails – from the bus stop in the middle of the small mountain village of S-charl (at 1800 m above sea level) the path ascends steadily through the highest larch forest in Europe past Alp Astras to the Pass da Costainas (at 2251 m above sea level). Short, steep descent to Alp Champatsch. The alp buildings of Champatsch were reconstructed in 1986; the old houses from 1825 now stand in the open-air museum Ballenberg. Then follows a steady descent to Lü.
