Rugelreise – Thurgau marble run route from Lüdem to Frauenfeld

On the "Rugelreise," the Thurgau marble run route, families can expect about 12 unique marble runs in the idyllic Murg valley. They travel by train from Frauenfeld to the Weberei Matzingen – or the other way around. Along varied marble runs and the Murg river, the walk leads back to the starting point.

The total 6.3 km-long path can also be started or ended at the Lüdem stop in shortened length.

The Rugelreise mainly follows the official Murg hiking trail and is not completely newly signposted. Follow the yellow hiking trail signs and watch out for the additional white Rugelreise signs.

Each marble run is a unique creation by local carpenters. A special highlight is the marble run in the form of a miniature Stählibuck tower.
