Rüti – Bubikon «Lützelsee-Egelsee Route»

The route starts at Rüti station and leads on low-traffic roads to the medieval Ritterhaus Bubikon. A visit is worthwhile. You will learn the history of the commandery of the Order of St. John. Then it continues along fields and flower meadows to the Botanical Garden. This is open from April to October. The route goes on to Lützelsee, where clattering storks await – what an experience to watch the busy storks at their nests. The friendly bathing spots at Lützelsee and Egelsee, which can be reached via the beautiful Schwöster terrain, invite you to rest, swim, and grill. The return path to Rüti leads through the Rütiwald. The route is suitable for the whole family.
