Route of Wonder Weesen

From the starting point at the lake basin, first observe the various interesting trees in the park. After the tree experiments in the park, cross the main road at Hotel Schwert and enter the town to the Dominican convent and continue up the street to the Büelkirche. You complete your circular walk on the Hüttenböschen grounds below the train station, which once housed a stately Roman temple.

Trees in the park: The chestnut with twisted growth next to the small bridge does not like the location so close to the water. It keeps turning away from the source of disturbance. Now go to the tulip tree and absorb its power. It is poisonous; do not lean against the trunk! At the trunk of the Sequoia (giant tree), you can recharge yourself. The relatively young tree already has considerable and strengthening powers.

Maria Zuflucht Convent: In the church of the Dominican convent Maria Zuflucht, you will find a special, protected, and quiet place. It is wonderful to relax here. The energies are not particularly strong, as the predecessor churches, whose construction still took power fields into account, stood at a different location.

Büelkirche (Cult place): On the church hill, on a strong place, stands the Holy Cross Church. Originally part of the castle complex, the church has been continuously expanded at the same place. Stand under the choir arch, behind the new altar, and behind the reading desk. Everywhere you stand on places of power with varying degrees of energy. On the outer facade, on the choir side of the Büelkirche, you will find a headache hole, still known to the population today.

Cult site Hüttenböschen (Cult place): In the protected, extensive shore area Hüttenböschen, a cult site with a temple from the Gallo-Roman period is documented. It was situated on a small hill, marked as an island on old maps, near the former outflow of the Maag. Today nothing is visible anymore; the hill was leveled during the Linth correction; the island no longer exists, time has moved on.
