Route Mellingen – Bremgarten

The hike from Mellingen to Bremgarten is idyllic and dreamy. The dense, almost jungle-like floodplain forest Foort along the Reuss was created because much habitat for plants and animals was lost through the construction on the Reuss. And the animals have indeed reclaimed the river landscape here: everywhere there are trees gnawed by beavers.
