Rinerhorn mountain station - Rinerhorn summit - Rinerhorn mountain station

The route starts at the mountain station of the Rinerhorn. Directly to the right at the exit of the station, you should already see the signpost towards the petting zoo; you need to walk in this direction. Past the petting zoo, turn right onto the hiking trail towards the Nüllisch ski lift. At the mountain station of the Nüllisch ski lift, the trail becomes a bit rockier. You follow the exciting path over the ridge towards Marchhüerli and further up to the Rinerhorn summit. The highest point is reached! The path over the ridge is slightly exposed but never in dangerous terrain.

From the Rinerhorn, the trail goes downhill towards the Hubelhütte hut; just before the hut, the trail turns into a drivable path. From the Hubelhütte, continue on the drivable path towards Äbirügg. At the Äbirügg barbecue area follows the final stretch on a gently descending drivable path back to the Rinerhorn mountain station. Done! The terrace of the mountain restaurant Jatzmeder is then perfect for a small reward.
