Riedli valley station to the Wiriehorn mountain hotel

The easy hike first takes you to the village of Entschwil, where magnificent examples of Simmental carpentry await you, built from 1700 until today. It is worth stopping here for a while and having a look around the village. After a section through the forest, a wonderful panoramic view opens up to the middle and rear Diemtigtal with its scattered settlement and mountains.

How do I get back to the starting point after the hike? After a refreshment on the sun terrace of the Wiriehorn mountain hotel, a comfortable and scenic chairlift ride down to the valley is highly recommended. The trotti bike path also leads directly from the mountain station down to the valley and provides variety and fresh breeze. For those who prefer to walk downhill: the hike can also be done well in reverse order.
