Ramosch – Martina

From Ramosch, the route alternates between open terrain and light forest, always staying close to the water. A total of three additional loops, some with steep sections, offer variety on the way to Martina even for those familiar with the route. Although the border village of Martina has only about 100 inhabitants, it has two noteworthy churches: San Plasch from 1515 and San Niclà (12th century) with a monumental painting of Christopher. Also, in Tschlin, just before Martina, there is the printing museum «Stamparia Strada». The printing house was founded in 1680. After gentle renovations, the house presents itself as one of the best-preserved farmhouses of the era and is a sight in itself.
