Description
The start of the route is in Gstaad. You follow the paved cycle path until just before Feutersoey - the perfect section to warm up and admire the impressive main Alpine ridge. Afterwards, continue on the main road up to Col du Pillon. The road leads along the high peaks up to the pass height at 1,546 meters above sea level.
It then rapidly goes downhill to Les Diablerets. Caution is advised on the steep descent. Next follows in Vers-l'Église the steep side road uphill to Les Voëttes. The final descent to Château-d'Oex promises real fun. Mostly good road surface and wide curves mean that often the two flat sections are ridden with a lot of pressure on the pedals.
On the main road, continue via Rougemont and Saanen back to the starting point in Gstaad.
