Description
We start at the Tell Monument in the middle of Altdorf. Along the main street, we walk about 50 meters north. In front of the Hotel zum Schwarzen Löwen, we turn right and soon reach the first playground, the Rosenberg playground. Here the children can pause briefly before we climb towards the cultural monastery, formerly the Capuchin monastery. At the cross in front of the Capuchin monastery, we enjoy the view over Altdorf.
Then it goes down a few meters. Immediately after the monastery wall, the path turns right, up to a woodcutter’s place. There we can take the middle path towards Nussbäumli. It rises slowly and offers many small surprises everywhere for children. At Nussbäumli, we can refresh ourselves. The children can stay with peers on the playground behind the restaurant.
After a longer break, we descend towards the high-rise building and football field. Everywhere we again have different views of Altdorf and the surrounding villages. At Höfli awaits the most beautiful playground in Altdorf. It leaves no wishes unfulfilled. Here children can really let off steam.
Across the Lehn, we reach Gotthardstrasse. We cross it and are after a few minutes already at the St. Karl playground. From here, you can also reach the playground at Spitalplatz in ten minutes. It rounds off the offer. Those who have enough time can also take the detour via the Bernarda playground.
From Spitalplatz, we soon return to the Tell Monument in the middle of Altdorf village.
