Plaine Morte - Tothorn

Take the cable car from Barzettes to Violettes then the funitel to Plaine Morte. The route starts at the arrival of the Violettes-Plaine Morte funitel. You begin this loop with a slight descent leading you toward the glacier located below the summit of the Plaine Morte. Arrived at the foot of the glacier, you follow it for a few hundred meters. Admire this lunar and magical landscape and occasionally observe sled dogs during hikes with clients or cross-country ski amateurs practicing their sport by making a loop on the glacier. The ascent to the arrival of the Violettes-Plaine Morte funitel is a bit steeper.
