Description
From Fuldera D'Aint you hike along an alpine road almost up to Alp Sadra, where the cows of Fuldera graze in summer. Below Alp Sadra, the hiking trail leads up to the right, where you soon come to the beautifully situated hut at Funtauna Grossa. As the name suggests, this area is quite wet and boggy, and with a bit of luck you may spot marmots, chamois, bearded vultures and eagles. The hiking trail continues to the Era da la Bescha hut, the trees become fewer and fewer and allow a view of the other side of the valley. Next you reach the Lai da Chazforà. The path continues slightly below the Seelein in the direction of Piz Dora. Finally, there is an ascent of around 350 metres to Piz Dora.On the descent, at Lai da Chazforà, we choose the variant down to Alp Sadra and back to Fuldera.
