Description
The starting point for the challenging variant (difficulty ZS+) is the Pischa cable car station, where the ascent towards Pischahorn begins. This first ascent is relatively short and without difficulties. Thus, early in the day, the first great descent beckons. The wide slopes down into the Vereina Valley offer wonderful variations. You can easily and enjoyably descend about 1,200 vertical meters!
The re-ascent on the opposite valley side towards Roggenhorn is very varied. Due to strong sunshine, the ascent can be sweaty and raise the pulse. The Roggenhorn lies in the middle of the Silvretta and offers a beautiful view of the mountain group of the central Eastern Alps. After an enjoyable summit rest, the second, even longer descent into the Verstancla Valley awaits. Pure enjoyment!
The last part of the route leads relatively flat from the Verstancla Valley to Monbiel, where the Alp Novai and Alp Garfiun offer two well-deserved places to rest.
