Description
The mountain flank with Oberer Chenner, Hochfläschen and Spicher as the highest points is impressive when seen from Rossfall. The rugged conglomerate rock walls leave no doubt: Anyone who wants to climb them from this side needs endurance. And indeed: In the first two kilometers of the trail, you have to overcome 470 meters of altitude. However, the ascent is not difficult. It leads over paved paths. The hike is varied and appeals to all the senses: Bells ring on the alpine pastures from cows and cattle, the forests smell spicy, the flowers in the wetland are in full bloom, strawberries and blueberries grow at the roadside, and the brook rustles in the ravine. Speaking of the brook: on the slopes south of Spicher, a handful of streams arise which gather deep down in the Ovenhole to form the Necker.
