Description
From the top station of the Laucheren chairlift, the hiking trail rises briefly. After the legendary Mörderguebi, the view of the Mythen opens up through gnarly spruces. Past the alpine hut Isentobel, the path leads to the eponymous ravine, where, as the name suggests, iron ore was mined at the beginning of the 20th century. Upon close inspection, you can still discover remains of the mining. From Sternenegg, you once again have a fantastic view of Lake Lucerne, the Rigi, and the Stoos. Through light forest, the path soon reaches the tree line and the Laucheren chapel. Via rear Fuederegg Laucherentobel you return to the starting point at the top station of the Laucheren chairlift. As an alternative, shortly after Laucherenchappelen, you can take the slightly shorter but steeper path directly to Steinboden (top station Laucheren chairlift).
