Mürren - Schilthorn Loop (11h)

The hike first leads gently to Spielbodenalp. There, the actual "mountain hiking" begins, as the route climbs steeply up to Bryndli. This is only reached by a short detour, as it does not lie directly on the way to Rotstockhütte. After a short rest at the hut, continue towards Roter Herd. In this section, you will gain the most altitude, about 600 meters. From Roter Herd, it is not far to the long-awaited Schilthorn - Piz Gloria. Here you enjoy a wonderful view. The descent is quite steep. Of course, it is also possible to avoid the steep descent by taking the Schilthorn cable car. If you choose the more strenuous option, you hike towards Birg and finally through the rocky and very steep Kanonenrohr back to Mürren.
