Mountain path Linthal - Braunwald

The mountain path Linthal - Braunwald is the classic path that leads from the valley to the sunny terrace at Braunwald. In one hour and 45 minutes you reach the mountain station of the Braunwald funicular.

The hiking path starts behind the large car park of the Braunwald funicular. There you follow the hiking path "Bergweg". The path steadily climbs steeply, mostly through forest. At "Tannenboden" you cross the Braunwaldbahn, which overcomes the 600 vertical meters on the tracks within a few minutes. You continue following the path towards Braunwald. When you arrive at the rehabilitation clinic there is the Bergkilchli on the right side of the path. From there, the path can end on the asphalt or you can take the shortcut behind the Bergkilchli to the mountain station.
