Mountain bike route with panoramic views through the Jura

This demanding bike loop with steep climbs passes by gates, pastures, fields, meadows, forests and hills. Wonderful views can be enjoyed again and again. Depending on the trail location, these extend to the breathtaking Lucerne and Bernese Alps or to the northern Black Forest.

There are several catering options along the way. One of them is the well-known Isebähnli restaurant above Trimbach; another is the Chalet Saalhöhe forest inn. At the end of the tour, after nearly 50 km and around 1,000 meters of altitude gain, it is recommended to stop by the inviting beer garden of the Schützenhaus restaurant.
