Mountain bike route from Aarau via Engelberg and Olten

After the start, follow the route through the Zelgli residential quarter to the Planet Path. Over the Grod, it continues to Engelberg and a little later you enjoy a wonderful view of the Alps from Känzeli. From here, a single trail leads down to the Wartburg farms. After the first descent, follow the steep paved road (about 1.5 km) and begin the ascent to Sali Castle. Motivated, it goes down the technical part to Olten. Along the Aare, you return to Aarau.

This is a route for experienced mountain bikers as it includes technical elements that can easily be bypassed on foot.
