Description

This varied route first always follows the Thur. Depending on available time, a detour on the Ruinenweg in Kradolf-Schönenberg allows you to discover the remains of medieval castles. Then continue to the beautiful small town of Bischofszell, which offers a piece of long-past industrial history with the Typorama and the historic paper machine.

The route leads through the Hudelmoos nature reserve to the historic Hagenwil water castle. The restaurant invites you to rest and dine. On the subsequent journey to Arbon, it is worthwhile to enjoy apple specialties at the Öpfelfarm shop or the nearby organic farm tavern Mausacker. Before arriving in Arbon, you finally pass the famous Möhl cider mill. And those thirsty from cycling can quench it with a cool beer at the Brauerei Frohsinn restaurant. Afterwards, the castle museum invites you to discover the local history.
