Maienfeld-Fläsch Wine Route

The ideal starting point for this easy circular hike is Maienfeld station. From here, you walk through the historic town centre to the northern outskirts, past the historic Brandis Castle. Straight through the vineyards, you continue via the Heidi fountain to the wine-growing village of Fläsch, which was awarded the Wakker Prize in 2010. Then the path leads through vineyards and forests slightly uphill, from where you have a wonderful view of Fläsch. Back in the village, continue along the Rhine, past forests and meadows, and finally back to Maienfeld.
