Description

The white-blue-white marked path branches off at Bunderalp near the herdsmen's huts at the foot of the Nünihorn heading southwest, winds around a rock ridge covered with alpine roses, and then heads directly south to ascend the lowest rock walls. Using stairs and ladders in chimney-like gullies and ridges, one reaches the sheep pastures and turns east at the sheep hut, ascending directly to the Zürchertritt. The usual path today leads from the herdsmen's huts on Bunderalp further up to the foot of the Nünihorn (poles) and then follows the good trail to the right, through the steep gully (fixed rope, called "Schryberschreck") up to the lush sheep pastures; crossing these on a well-marked path, one meets the other path at the chain near Zürchertritt (see signpost at Bunderalp). The path via "Schryberschreck" is somewhat shorter. A chain in the final gully between the sheep pastures and the lower Tierchumi makes the not quite easy ascent over Zürchertritt easier. From Tierchumi now again heading southwest through the slate gullies to the hut. From the hut leads a steep alpine route to Engstligenalp. Only for practiced alpinists or with a mountain guide of the Alpine School Adelboden Kandersteg.
