Description
From the station, start toward the church at the eastern village exit. An underpass safely leads under the railway and Engadin road. With a steady climb to the first hill, where the path splits. Both paths lead to Guarda; the left continues with a steady climb, the right starts flat and follows the slope with some curves before climbing to meet the upper winter path again. Roughly halfway between Lavin and Guarda (after a short wooded area), you pass through the former settlement of Gonda. After another ascent over terraced slopes, the path turns left toward the bridge over the mountain stream Clozza, which at this point forms the municipal boundary between the two large municipalities Zernez and Scuol. Soon after, you reach the road and the village entrance of Guarda. The PostBus stop is reached by turning left at the church.
