Description
From the post bus stop in Langis, the path leads down to the Ochsenalp and crosses the Steinibach. Here, you alternate between nationally protected raised bog and fen areas. The ascent through the Münchboden is marked by particularly adapted communities of bog plants and animals.
From the Seli Alp, the path ascends more steeply through the Mettlenbüel to the ridge and reaches westwards the Riedmattstock. A wonderful panoramic view opens from Pilatus over the mountain ring of the Sarneraatal to the Bernese and Vaud Alps. On the ridge walk to the Miesenstock, the path passes through diverse alpine flora. From Miesenstock, whose name originally comes from moss, there is a wide view over the BLN area Haggleren-Glaubenberg. This means the entire area is part of the Federal Inventory of Landscapes and Natural Monuments of National Importance. Additionally, there is a view into the Swiss Plateau and as far as the Jura. Via Trogenegg, you reach the Seewenegg and then back down to the Glaubenberg Pass.
