Landwasser Viaduct Viewing Platform Acatos

The viewing platform in Filisur was named after the Greek-Swiss engineer Alexander Acatos, who designed the Landwasser viaduct. From the platform in the forest, there is a breathtaking view of the viaduct and the steep slope down to the Landwasser river. The semicircular wooden structure is equipped with information panels about the viaduct. The train signal, which can be heard shortly before the arrival of a train, is the sign to prepare the camera and press the shutter at the right moment.
