Lake tour at the foot of Wildgärst No. 35

At the beginning, you walk at the foot of the Wetterhorn on the ascent of Ultra Trail routes E101 and E51 to the Great Scheidegg. The route is quiet and secluded, increasing the chances to observe the chamois living here. From the Great Scheidegg, follow over Oberläger Scheidegg to Wart. The pretty trail now passes the two small mountain lakes Häxeseewli and Hagelseewli. On this section you won't have mobile reception for once. Then continue to the well-known Bachalpsee and from there with an easy descent to Waldspitz. If you need a refreshment, you can enjoy a fine cake or coffee on the sun terrace at the mountain guesthouse. Then follows the last ascent to First. Here you can take the gondola down to the valley or start the descent to the village.
