Description
Together with countless bathing spots, charming small towns, great playgrounds and perfect accessibility by public transport, the Lake Constance cycle route is one of the best ways to discover this jewel. The cycle route starts in Bregenz, Austria. The route crosses the Rhine and at Gaissau the route changes to Rheineck in Switzerland. It then continues to Altenrhein. Past the market hall, the route goes on to Rorschach and then along the shores of Lake Constance to Arbon. Afterwards, the route continues to Romanshorn.
Through the towns of Uttwil and Kesswil, you reach Altnau. The path then continues over Kreuzlingen to Gottlieben, with a view of the Wollmatinger Ried nature reserve. It then continues through the former fishing village of Ermatingen to Berlingen and then on to Stein am Rhein.
