Lägh da Bitabergh round route

The hike to Bitaberghsee leads across the snow-covered plain around the Orden basin, before ascending through the larch forest on the other side of the dam. The lake is either black frozen or white powdered in winter and radiates a very special charm at this time of year...

The route starts at the Orden parking lot, opposite Villa Baldini. Until the bridge at Salecina, the path follows Cavlocstrasse. On the other side of the river, turn right and head back towards the dam. From there, the snowshoe markings follow the summer path. Further up, the trail makes a small loop to the west before meeting the main path again about 50 m before Lägh da Bitabergh. After a leisurely loop around the lake, the return follows the same route.
