Iffigenalp - Wildhornhütte

The easiest and shortest route to the Wildhornhütte leads from the Iffigenalp through the idyllic Iffig valley past the Iffigsee on a good, not exposed hiking trail. The Iffigsee is truly a gem among mountain lakes, beautifully nestled between the steep rock face on one side and the open arena of mountain meadows on the other. A tip for anglers: Fishing is possible at the Iffigsee with a day permit, which is available at the Berghaus Iffigenalp. On hot days, the brave might even dare to cool off in the cold water. The Wildhornhütte offers food and drinks for day guests, and those who want to extend their mountain experience can stay overnight at the hut and enjoy the evening atmosphere in the mountains.
