Hockenhorn - Gitzifurggu - Leukerbad

1st stage: From the Gandegg mountain station in the Lauchernalp ski area, the route starts heading towards Milibach Glacier up to Hockenhorn. From here you have a magnificent view of the surrounding Valais and Bern mountain panorama. Alternatively, at the Gandegg mountain station, you can take the glacier cable car directly to the Hockenhorn ridge. Afterwards, you set off for the Lötschen Pass hut. Refresh yourself at the Lötschen Pass hut for the 2nd stage of this route.

2nd stage: In the second stage, you ascend from the Lötschen Pass hut to the Gitzifurggu. Then enjoy the long descent to Leukerbad.
