Hinwil – Bachtel – Hinwil «the classic on the Zürioberland local mountain»

From the station, you catch a brief view of the village of Hinwil before you branch off from the main roads onto narrow paths. In the hamlet "Sack" you pass carefully maintained residential houses and arrive directly in Wernetshausen. Here you leave the last settlements and turn onto the steep forest path. On narrow paths, you cross the mixed forest until you reach Orn. The summit is already within reach here.

The descent begins via stairs until it leads onto an inviting forest road. From Girenbad, follow the winding Wildbach ravine down to the heart of Hinwil.
