Hike to Adelboden

Starting at the Gemmi Lodge (2,322 m), reached via cable car from Leukerbad, the path leads gently down along the glacier-fed Daubensee, a remote lake with no visible outlet, framed by the Daubenhorn and Schwarzhorn.

The route then continues across the Engstligenalp, a wide alpine pasture with seasonal cattle farming and panoramic views.

The final stage descends via a scenic alpine trail through the gorge of the Engstligen waterfalls – one of Switzerland’s highest falls at 600 m. A well-secured trail leads directly to Adelboden.
