Description
From San Carlo the hike descends gently to Bignasco. Along the way, you pass many small, typical Ticino villages and impressive rock faces. The waterfall in Foroglio plunges from an 80-meter-high cliff with loud rushing into the valley and is definitely worth a visit. If you haven't had enough in Bignasco, continue walking downhill towards Locarno. Along the way, you pass several bus stops.
